Virginia Elizabeth Castle, 100, of Blatchley, NY went home to be with the Lord on July 4, 2025. She is survived by her children, John Carsten Bolte III, Rev. Lynn E. Samaan, and Dr. Mark E. Bolte, Robert R. Castle, and Kimberly C. Turner; nine grandchildren, Katie Kavalsky, Colleen Castle, Kara Castle, Rebecca Piermarini, Scott Bolte, Reese Bolte, Nick Turner, Sarah Turner, and Travis Turner; eight great grandchildren, Cooper and Gabriel Kavalsky, Luna and Ayla Piermarini, Kylan Bolte, Nolan, Hayden, and Jensen Turner; a sister-in-law, Peggy Castle; and several nieces and nephews.
Virginia was predeceased by her first husband, John C. Bolte Jr.; also by her second husband, Robert Stanley Castle Jr.; and by her parents, John Willard and Mildred Seitz.
Virginia loved history for her family and the Town of Windsor. She was an artist, working in oils. Virginia loved her family, her farm, Blatchley, her church and the Lord.
A funeral service will be held at noon on Friday, July 11, 2025 at the Sunshine Valley Wesleyan Church. Interment will be made in the Blatchley Cemetery. Family and friends will gather in the church from 11 am until the service begins. Online information at https://www.
