My Uncle’s Place for over 20 years, dies, Dwight "Ike" was the proud owner

According to his obituary, Dwight “Ike” Bronson died peacefully on October 5, 2026.   According to records,   My Uncle's Place is a family-owned neighborhood bar, pub, and restaurant located in near Port Dickinson and Binghamton, New York.  120 E Service Rd, Binghamton, NY 13901 (also near Hillcrest) , current ownership is reported as  Co-owned by Linda Trusky and her brother, Bobby.  The local tavern is  known for comfort food, daily specials, draft drinks, open mic nights, trivia, live bands, and a pool table. Publicly it is famous for specialty pizzas (such as their Big Mac pizza).  He ran the establishment for more than two decades before officially retiring. (Following his retirement, the business passed to its subsequent family ownership group, Linda Trusky and her brother Bobby).  In 2008, it was the gathering spot for local Law Enforcement following the funeral of Port Dickinson Police Officer, Aldo Rossi.
