Randal Helms,69, of Kirkwood was born July 30th 1956. He went on to his resting place on July 19th, 2026. He grew up in Vestal NY with his father Ivan Helms, and his Mother Joyce Helms, four sisters and two brothers. His father, Ivan had a welding business and taught him the trade. He left home in 1979 and served honorably in the U.S. Navy until 1983. While he was a man of many talents welding was his passion and what he pursued and excelled in throughout his lifeHe was full of life and laughter wherever he went. You would expect to hear a joke or reminisce about a chapter in his life. He most enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed painting beautiful landscapes and sharing them with family and friends. His work will be forever admired and cherished.
He was a loving husband to Catherine Helms for almost 42 years. A loving father to his four children; Robert Lee (Kathy Jo), Kimberly Shaffer (Jacob), Danielle Helms ( Bobby), Miranda Cook (Chris). He was a loving PaPa to eleven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
