Patricia M. Prober, 70, of Lisle, New York born on August 25, 1954, passed away   peacefully at home surrounded by family March 18, 2025.  She was cherished, as a mother of four, a beloved grandmother to many, a sister, and a friend. She filled every room with her warmth, creativity, and candid spirit. She was a woman of faith, allowing it to steer her through various stages of life. and her heart was always open—ready to give, advise, and share her love freely.  Patt’s boundless curiosity and artistic passion were evident in everything she did. From collaging and rubber stamping to crocheting blankets and journaling, she never stopped creating. She loved making and sending handmade cards—tangible tokens of affection that brightened the day of her pen pals, soldiers serving overseas, and anyone lucky enough to receive one. Her 4-H leadership and time in the Melodeers Drum Corps highlighted her community spirit, as well as her lifelong dedication to inspiring others.

Nature, in all its forms, fascinated Patt. Whether it was bird watching, picnics, listening to Willie Nelson tunes under the sun’s warmth, or enjoying the simple pleasure of a day spent at Greenwood Park. She would often look to the night sky with wonder, tracking the phases of the moon and excitedly sharing updates about planetary alignments or meteor showers with her family—especially her grandchildren, the shining stars of her life. Whether it was spaghetti dinners and cozy Hallmark movies, or simply a moment outside under a tranquil evening sky, she always found delight in life’s little joys.  Though Patt was gentle and kind, she also possessed a remarkable straightforwardness and honesty, offering her family and friends the guidance they needed along with the unfiltered wisdom they deserved. Above all, she devoted herself to her four children and many grandchildren, nurturing, encouraging, and loving them beyond measure.  Patt will be dearly missed, but she will forever live in the hearts of everyone she loved. Perhaps right now, she is relaxing on a beach, with warm sand beneath her feet, listening to the waves crash against the shore and watching the sunset, waiting for us to one day join her. We hope she’s finally enjoying that peaceful vibe she longed for so much.

We know she’s looking down at us with her warm smile, a cherished part of who we are. We will always remember her love and care, and we will feel her presence in the beauty of the world around us. We love you everyday mom.

A family and friends gathering to honor Patt’s life will be held at a later date, where memories will be shared, meals enjoyed, and love celebrated—just the way Patt would have wanted. In remembering her, may we all take a moment to appreciate the moonlit nights, the warmth of the sun, and the wonders of the world around us, just as she taught us to do.  Express condolences at http://www.SavageFS.com.  Rather than sending flowers, take some time to enjoy the outdoors, bask in the sunshine, and savor the laughter of friends and family.   Full obituary also at www.TiersNews.com.  Arrangements entrusted to SAVAGE-DeMarco Funeral Service.
